What should I prepare before an interior design consultation?
Prepare your room dimensions, project location, a list of rooms and furniture to retain, reference images, budget priorities and preferred timing. Add a short summary in the form's additional notes; discuss drawings or photographs with the team when contacted.
How is the interior design estimate calculated?
The Interior Design form uses the current category rate per square foot multiplied by the project area you enter. Treat that figure as an initial estimate. Confirm the area basis, design deliverables, final fees, taxes and any additional charges with the team.
Does the estimate include furniture, materials or installation?
Do not assume these are included in the displayed estimate. Ask for a clear scope separating design work, supplied products, site visits and installation, with costs and responsibilities confirmed before proceeding.
How should I compare interior design quotations?
Compare the same rooms and area basis. Check the drawings or other deliverables, revision scope, materials if any, taxes, exclusions and payment stages. A design fee and a supplied-and-installed interiors quote cover different work, so confirm each item with the provider.
Is interior design available for my project location?
